Getting Started with Blender & 3D Modeling

  • Richland Library 1431 Assembly Street Columbia, SC, 29201 United States (map)

Learn the basics of 3D modeling by creating a simple character in Blender, the powerful free and open source computer graphics software. No experience or artistic skill needed.

This workshop is led by Patrick Nugent, Indie Grits first and worst intern. A graduate of the USC Media Arts Program and Temple University School of Media and Communication, his work often blends a collage of archival film and video footage with an array of digital manipulation techniques. Patrick lives in Philadelphia with Ozymandias, noted cat model.
